Welcome to the official Bulleen Boomers page. The Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club caters for all ages and all basketball abilities.
We run a local Primary School competition for boys and girls just starting out in basketball. Kids interested can then join our Junior Domestic competition, representing Bulleen in the Eastern District Junior Basketball Association (EDBJA) on Saturdays. Talented juniors can progress to our representative Junior Championship program, which plays on Friday nights in the state wide Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL). Our pathway then leads to senior basketball, where our open age representative teams play in the Victorian State league called Big V. We enter both men's and women's teams in the youth (23 and under) and championship competitions. We also have a proud history of association with the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL), having entered a team in the elite national women's competition since 1984. And finally, for those after a more social run around, our senior domestic competition runs each weeknight with a range of grade and age groups.
